The mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.
Every fall, the best hearted guy in the league, Josh Briand of the Battletoads, sets up a “Toys for Tots” donation box at the field. This year he will be doing it again this weekend. We are aware that there are a lot of teams on bye but for those of you who are going to be around, but if you Blitzers are feeling in the Holiday Spirit in lieu of the spooky season, please donate and do good on this upcoming weekend, it’ll make you feel good on the inside.
